Grupo PIASA Joins Czarnikow’s VIVE Sustainability Program

Feb 13, 2026

Grupo PIASA has formally launched its participation in Czarnikow’s VIVE Program, a globally recognized voluntary initiative designed to strengthen sustainability performance across the food and beverage supply chain.

The VIVE framework supports companies in measuring, improving, and transparently demonstrating their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance through a structured, continuous-improvement approach. Its adaptable methodology enables organizations at different stages of sustainability maturity to accelerate progress while enhancing traceability and accountability.

For Grupo PIASA, entering the VIVE Program represents a strategic step forward in strengthening responsible sugar production. The initiative will enable a comprehensive assessment of field and mill operations, while reinforcing collaboration with sugarcane growers to build a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable value chain.

During the program’s initial phase, cross-functional teams will implement targeted improvement actions across company-owned agricultural lands and production facilities. These efforts will focus on strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing supply chain traceability, and elevating environmental and social performance standards.

Through this engagement, Grupo PIASA continues to position itself at the forefront of sustainability leadership within Mexico’s sugarcane industry, reaffirming its commitment to long-term value creation and sector-wide development.
