Our production process

1. Cane Juice Extraction

In the mill area, we extract cane juice by applying pressure through rollers powered by turbines or electric motors. This process yields two products: the filtered cane juice, which is weighed before entering the factory, and the bagasse, which is used as fuel in our boilers to produce green energy

2.Cane Juice Clarification

The cane juice undergoes clarification, where it is mixed with saccharate (a blend of lime and molasses) to neutralize acidity. It is then heated to separate insoluble solids. The resulting sludge is vacuum-filtered to recover residual cane juice, while the spent sludge is repurposed as fertilizer for sugarcane fields or as compost

3. Evaporation and Concentration

The clear cane juice, initially 70% water, is concentrated in quadruple-effect evaporators until its water content drops to 30%, producing honeydew

4. Sucrose Crystallization

Honeydew is crystallized in the evaporators through supersaturation under vacuum pressure and controlled temperatures, resulting in a cooked mass, or tempers. Lower purity tempers are further processed to enhance sugar recovery

5. Centrifugation

During centrifugation, sugar crystals are separated from the remaining honey, refining the product’s quality

6. Raw Sugar Refining

Raw sugar undergoes further refining in centrifugation, separating the sugar grains from the honey to improve the product's quality

7. Packaging, Conservation, and Shipping

Refined sugar is packaged in four formats: 25 kg bags, 50 lb bags, 1-ton super bags, and 1.5-ton super bags. We store the sugar in strategically located warehouses across Mexico, ensuring efficient transportation by road, rail, or sea to both domestic and international clients
